Designed by Mexican architect Javier Senosiain, Casa Orgánica blurs the line between architecture and landscape. Looking through one of its signature organic windows, I was struck by how the house seemed to frame nature rather than separate itself from it. The photograph became less about the building and more about the quiet conversation between design and the world outside.

Like everyone else, I wanted the front row. Instead, we were seated one row back and it turned out to be the better view. From there, the umbrellas framed the entire scene perfectly, transforming an afternoon at the beach into something that felt almost cinematic.

This vintage car sits behind the same gate almost every day, and I'd walked past it countless times. On the way to the film lab, with only a few frames left on the roll, a light rain began to fall. I slipped my lens through the gate, focused quickly, and made the photograph just before finishing the roll. Sometimes the pictures you remember most are the ones you almost didn't make.

The path to the beach was completely quiet as the sun came up over Hotel Esencia. Before breakfast, before conversations, before the day had fully begun, everything felt still. I was drawn to the way the palms framed the walkway and how the first light softened the entire scene.

One of Capri's most iconic beach clubs, photographed on medium format film after a long lunch overlooking the sea. The striped umbrellas, limestone cliffs, and impossibly blue water have made La Fontelina a destination for generations, but what stayed with me most was how timeless it all felt.

Made just before lunch service began at Tuba Club. The tables had been set, and for a few quiet minutes the restaurant belonged only to the staff. It felt less like a restaurant and more like a host waiting for it's first guests.

Photographed from the apartment where we stayed overlooking one of Marseille's most beloved swimming coves along the Corniche Kennedy. Throughout the day, locals gathered on the rocks below to swim, sunbathe, and escape the summer heat. From above, the neighborhood is a place designed around life by the sea.
